While it is possible to play as something of a lone-wolf, most people will enjoy it more if they are able to invite friends to play Arma Reforger. After all, victory can taste all the sweeter when you have friends to share it with.
But with Arma Reforger still being an early access game, it is far from the finished article. That's what the Arma Reforger session error and Arma Reforger failed to join server error shows. And that means that setting up a game for your friends to join isn't necessarily immediately obvious.
With that in mind, here's how you can invite friends to play Arma Reforger.
Arma Reforger How To Invite Friends
There are two main multiplayer game modes that you can play, both of which allow you to invite friends to join you. The way you go about it is slightly different for each, so we'll cover them in turn.
Game Master Mode
Game Master mode allows players to create a game with its own unique scenarios, and allow other players to join. You don't need to be Sir Patrick Moore or Sir Trevor McDonald in order to play this mode.
The Game Master has control of the map - they choose spawn points, and can decide whether to have all players on the same team, or otherwise.
To access this mode, open the Game Master menu and choose a terrain. This will give you a blank world where you have control over the scenario you wish to create. During the game, you can switch between playing the game and editing the game, should you feel the need to do so.
If you want to create a game that anyone can join, then at this stage, your work is pretty much done.
But if you want to create a private party where only your friends are allowed in, then you'll need to lock the match and create a password. Anyone who has the password can then access the match, so you can share that with your friends, and you're good to go.
One thing to note is that only the server host or admins can open Game Master mode. Admins can, however, grant other people Game Master access by changing their access rights.

Multiplayer or Conflict Mode
Whether you are playing Conflict mode, or another multiplayer mode, this is probably the simplest way to invite friends to join you.
Any one of your group can create a match, and then leave it open for others to join. They'll be able to find it by using the search function in the game. It will be easier to find if you give it a distinctive name.
Players can then find that game, join it, and choose which side they wish to be on. If you all want to play on the same team, it's easy to coordinate.
