Apex Legends is finally released for the Nintendo Switch today. Fans can now get their hands with the game finding its new home in the form of the handheld console, also with a resolution of its own.

What is Apex Legends resolution on Nintendo Switch?

According to Nintendo Life, the resolution of Apex Legends on Nintendo Switch depends on how you are using the actual console.

Playing your Switch in docked mode gives a 720p resolution for Apex Legends. While for the portable or handheld state, you may have a lower 576p resolution.

But regardless of how you use it, all the features present in the PC version will be available for the Switch as well. So there's nothing to worry about.

What is Apex Legends FPS on Nintendo Switch?

As for Apex Legends frame rate on Switch, there's good news and bad news.

Panic Button’s technical director, Andy Boggs, confirmed in an interview with Famitsu that Apex Legends will run at 30 frames per second (FPS) on Switch.

This applies to both the docked and handheld versions of the game.

The same quality will be experienced by players all throughout the course of playing the game on Switch.

Unfortunately the game will not be able to reach 60FPS on Nintendo Switch.
