Which Processor is Better? Intel or AMD Ryzen?

Intel and AMD are the two major CPU options when looking to building a PC, and these two options have been competing for years, with AMD currently in the lead with their RYZEN processors.

But the big question is, which one is better for your needs?

Here's what we think...

Which Processor Is Better, Intel or AMD?

Intel is currently going to release its 11th generation processors, Rocket Lake, and is currently working on its 12th generation processor.

Intel's Rocket Lake Core i9 processor boasts eight cores with sixteen threads with a turbo clock speed of 4.7 GHz.

Intel was the best CPU for the gaming for years

AMD has recently released the Ryzen 5000 series processors, which feature the AMD Ryzen 5900X processor, which offers a total of twelve CPU cores and twenty-four threads with a max boost clock speed of 4.8 GHz.

Intel processors were the best for gaming for years. Still, thanks to AMD's Ryzen series and its Ryzen 5000 series processors, AMD has finally dethroned Intel as the best processor series for gaming and streaming, some would argue.

Which one should you go for?

As always, it depends on what you're using it for and how much power you'll need, but we'd say that AMD's Ryzen 5000 series processors are currently the best in performance for both gaming and streaming, with Intel's Core i9 as a close contender.

Intel's 12th generation processors are predicted to cause an upset and give them back the spot as the best processor for gaming; however, with little information currently available and no release date for the 12th generation processors, we'll have to wait and see.
