The HTC Vive is on par with some of the most popular VR headsets today. And setting it up isn't complicated at all.
You need to follow some steps, maximize the space in your room, and once you're done with it, it will be worth it. I promise.
Just go through with this guide and make sure to have all the things you need.
Here's how to set up your new HTC Vive VR headset:
Place and set up your hardware
The official SteamVR support page already says it all.
First, pick a room where you want to explore while using your HTC Vive VR headset. Then place and set up your base stations somewhere comfortable and organized. Plug it in afterwards to power it up.
Then proceed with installing and connecting your link box to your PC.
Other steps and finishing touches
After connecting your link box, proceed with connecting your actual HTC Vive headset to it by plugging it on the link box's orange ports.
Then install the Steam software and choose the SteamVR option in it.
Turn on your controllers, and watch the tutorial once you get ready with it.
And enjoy using your HTC Vive VR headset!
