Reset your Oculus headset using your phone

Reset your Oculus headset using the headset itself

The official support page for Oculus also has the following method:

  • First, make sure to turn off your headset.
  • Then press and hold the power and volume (the minus) buttons on your headset at the same time and wait for your screen to boot.
  • Click the volume buttons to select Factory Reset and press the Power button afterwards.
  • Finally, use again the volume buttons to choose Yes and it will now reset your headset.

Before you decide on resetting your headset however, take note that it will erase all the saved information and apps stored on your Oculus.

Make sure that before you do a reset, always think twice before you do it.
