How to open and use the Starfield planet map

In order to open the map, you have to select the Starmap that you can find in the top left corner of the menu. In order to do so, you can press and hold the left stick on the controller, and then select it.

But how to use it? By pressin B you can start to zoom out on the map to go to the System view, or even more to the Galaxy view. From the Starmap you can decide which planet to visit next, for example because it has interesting resources to collect. Just press LB to view what resources one planet might have.

Finally, in order to choose a destination to land on from the map, then select the area you'd like to travel to and press A, then hold down X. That will set the target for your next destination.

Now, if you're done with the map, you can hold the B button to return to the menu that you were there before, on your character. You can also press it numerous times to start zooming out.
