Skibidi Toilet is first and foremost a series of videos, developed in Source Filmmaker and published on YouTube by creator “DaFuq!?Boom!”. Many videos feature songs, very often a remix of "Give It To Me" by Timbaland, along with "Dom Dom Yes Yes" by Biser King. Other times we can also hear a slowed down version of “Everybody wants to rule the world” by Tears for Fears.
What happens in these videos? Well, they are a series of fights, where an army of toilets with men's heads coming out of them try to take over the world. While they are slowly conquering our planet, they are also singing those songs. Their main enemies, those sworn to protect the world, are the CameraHeads. These are basically nothing more than men, often dressed in suits, with camera for heads.
The first episode of the long running Skibidi Toilet dates back from February 2023, uploaded as a YouTube Short. Many more episodes would follow in later months, each gaining millions of views. Overtime, the whole concept of the series has become a subject of memes, Android games, and videos all over the internet, including YouTube, Twitter and TikTok.
What is Source Filmmaker?
Source Filmmaker is a tool to create animated movies with Valve’s Source Engine. It was originally published for the first time in 2012 and, since then, it has received several updates.
Source Filmmaker includes three different user interfaces, along with a camera that can be used for previewing the active scene. There are three interfaces to create clips, controlling animation, and making adjustments to the animation.
The Clip editor is used to arrange shots, the motion editor to blend two animations together and finally, the Graph Editor can be used to create keyframes which can then be used for several animations.
