Step into the boots of a SWAT officer in the tactical first-person shooter from VOID Interactive. The game is still in its Early Access phase, but many are already showing interest in a Ready or Not console release. Will we be seeing Ready or Not on Xbox consoles or PS5?

Though Ready or Not takes place in the fictional city of Los Suenos, California, it puts a lot of emphasis on the realism of in-game mechanics and interactions. It’s set during the modern day and even has a map where you respond to a stream-swatting incident.

So, let’s see if we will be getting a Ready or Not console version any time soon. You'll find everything you need to know below.

Will Ready or Not come to consoles?

No, unfortunately Ready or Not won’t be coming to consoles any time soon.

That’s unfortunate for console gamers, but don’t lose hope just yet. VOID Interactive has shown interest in releasing the game on consoles since they do recognize the demand for it. They even touch on the subject in the official Ready or Not FAQ page.

However, when Ready or Not might actually arrive on consoles is anyone’s guess at this point.

It might be difficult for them to port Ready or Not's complex controls over to a controller. For example, the game requires quick mouse movements to aim, which is something that is difficult with an analog stick.
