How to level up in Payday 3 beta
You can level up in Payday 3 beta by finishing heist maps and challenges. Additionally, you can also grind for available achievements in the closed beta. Keep in mind that Payday 3 achievements are constantly changing at least until the game’s global launch date.
A heist map is the most important deciding factor in your character’s progression. Every heist map is different, and some game assets are randomized upon loading. Still, some areas of opportunities remain in the same spot, allowing heisters to coordinate their plans effectively.
Payday 3’s character progression is tied to the Infamy system. By finishing heists, players can gain points towards their Infamy level. Higher infamy levels will unlock cool rewards like weapons, armor types, and even skill points.
However, it’s important to know that some players have encountered two leveling bugs. The first bug is about the character level not reflecting properly after a gaming session. The second bug, on the other hand, is about the weapons not leveling up. While the Starbreeze Team is actively working on fixing the bugs, some lucky players managed to solve the issues by restarting the game.
How to access the Payday 3 beta
You can access the Payday 3 closed beta through Steam or Xbox Insider Hub. Just keep in mind that there’s still no closed beta option for Playstation users.
In Payday 3’s Steam page, you just need to scroll down and click ‘Request Access’ from the Payday 3 Playtest section. For Xbox, simply log in to your account and go to the Previews section. Just click ‘Join’ and you’re good to go. Now, you just need to wait for the confirmation that you’re part of the Payday 3 beta.
