How to Stream Quest 3 to Your TV

Right off the bat, you'll want to ensure that you've installed the Meta Quest app on your smartphone. This step will likely be completed when you explore more about the VR headset as soon as you get your hands on it.

Check if your Quest 3, TV, and smartphone are all linked to the same Wi-Fi network. If they're not, you won't be able to stream content across them.

Once they're all in place, you're ready to continue with the further steps to stream your Quest 3 to your TV successfully.

You may experience a slight delay at first. If you're patient and give it a moment to sync up properly, you can stream your Quest 3 to your TV successfully.

You should notice that your TV now mirrors exactly what you're seeing through your Quest 3.

This allows you to participate in the VR experience while your friends or family members can join and share your games, videos, and additional content at the same time.

To end streaming, return to the Camera menu, choose Cast once more, and then select Stop Casting.

How to stream Quest 3 to TV without automatic casting

There may be times when things don't go as expected. Perhaps there's no TV on the list of devices on which you are allowed to stream your Quest 3. Either your TV isn't compatible, or you probably missed checking if it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

If your TV doesn't support automatic casting, you can typically bypass this issue by using a web browser. But if your TV lacks a web browser function, this workaround won't be effective.

Nonetheless, since smart TVs are prevalent nowadays, this method should be compatible with most devices. Visit Oculus Cast, log in, and follow the provided instructions.

Put on your VR headset, open the menu bar, select Camera, then select Computer. Although it says computer, any device with internet access will do the job.

That's it. You can now stream your Quest 3 to your TV whenever you wish. You might also want to know if Quest 2 accessories will work with the Meta Quest 3.
