How to get Ori’s key and open Ori's chest in Return to Moria

There are many secrets and recipes to unlock in Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. You'll be diving into the depths of Moria and clearing out hordes of orcs and goblins. Naturally, you'll come across plenty of bounty and loot that they've stored up. One such chest you'll come across very early is Ori's chest. However, you need Ori's key to open it.

Where to find Ori's chest?

Ori's chest is located right next to the statue of Ori Akhfur. Once you start the game, you'll be stumbling around in the dark till you happen across your first base. You'll have to repair it to get started, but you might notice the large statue located inside. At the base of the statue, you'll see Ori's chest. If you try to interact with it, it'll tell you that you need Ori's key to open it.

How do I get Ori's key?

You can craft Ori's key at the forge for the cost of a single iron ingot. The process of getting an iron ingot isn't too complicated. First of all, you need to use stone (18) to fix up the stone hearth and the furnace. Stone can be mined from nearby objects and walls. Next, you need to build the forge. The forge requires three iron ingots. Ori's key also requires an iron ingot, so you need a total of four. Each iron ingot requires three iron ore, so you'll have to farm 12 iron ore and some coal to fuel the furnace.

You can find iron ore near Ori's base by walking around and mining the stone walls with brown dots all over them.

Once you have everything ready, just interact with the forge and craft Ori's key.

Now walk up to Ori's chest, and you can unlock it to claim the following rewards:

• Iron ingots (3)
• Gold coins (10)
