How to cook food in Lord of the Rings Return to Moria
The first place that will give you access to the ability to cook food is the Stone Hearth in your first base. Once you have it repaired and lit up, you can interact with it and see a list of your available recipes.
If you have the ingredients and the recipe available, then you can add the meal to a queue with a wait timer on it. Note that you will also need a meal table nearby, where the food will be served automatically once it's complete.
After a while, you can unlock the Oven, which lets you create rations that you can carry with you while you're out adventuring.
Where can you cook from in Lord of the Rings Return to Moria?
Besides the Stone Hearth, you can also cook from the Camp Hearth while you're out on the move. The Camp Hearth has fewer recipes available. However, it provides you with the advantage of being able to store your cooked meals. Meals on the Meal Table need to be consumed, and they can go bad if left in the open for too long.
You can create your own Camp Hearth at any location if you have the following resources:
- Wood Scraps x10
- Coal x6
- Stone x6
You can also make a Stone Hearth at any location you desire, and it will give you access to even more recipes than the Camp Hearth.
How to unlock new recipes in Lord of the Rings Return to Moria
To unlock new recipes and food items in Lord of the Rings Return to Moria, you just need to keep gathering more ingredients. Once you collect a new ingredient, its corresponding recipe will be unlocked and added to your recipe menu automatically.
