What are Lethal Company hazard levels?

As this game involves quite a bit of space exploration, you'll need to travel to different moons to collect scrap. Once you make your way to a moon in Lethal Company, you'll see a pop-up warning you about hazard levels. You might be wondering what they're all about, and whether they really are as dangerous as they game tells you.

Basically, hazard levels indicate the power of the enemy on the moon that you have landed on. It also influences the quality and the amount of loot available to find. Thus, the riskier the hazards are, the better loot you might be able to find.

Lethal Company Hazard level list

Besides the safe hazard level, there are seven Lethal Company hazard levels that you should keep in mind. These are as follows:

  • Level D - This is the easiest level where you will find the easiest enemies to eliminate, such as Hoarding Bugs. They can't really hurt you.
  • Level C - This level offers a mild challenge and is slightly harder than D. You'll find Spore Lizards here which can be a nuisance, but you can make short work of them.
  • Level B - This will be trickier to beat, so make sure to watch out for the ceilings where snare fleas and spider webs might be out to get you. This difficulty is where some players start to die so make sure co-operation is maintained. Moons like Experimentation are at hazard level B, where you will find Forest Keepers and Circuit Bee beehives.
  • Level A - It starts getting deadly from Level A, which is the hazard level of the moon Rend. It offers a bit of everything, but keep in mind that any potential encounter could be fatal.
  • Level S - Make sure you bring enough players with you, as good teamwork is essential in order to survive in Level S. The moon Dine is of this level, where it's very foggy and hard to see. The monsters here can take you out instantly, so be on your guard.
  • Level S+ - All monsters will appear at Level S+. Titan is the moon where you will find the toughest monsters Lethal Company has to offer. No matter how well-equipped you are, the risk of death can appear at any moment. But well, at least the promise of loot makes it worth the danger.
