Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is extremely buggy and is suffering from a lot of rushed problems, including PS5 frame rate issues. Developer Respawn Entertainment has acknowledged that the game is a mess, especially on PC.

EA has acknowledged that the souls-like has a bunch of issues and plans to address them with a number of patches in the next few weeks. However, that doesn’t help anyone who already bought the game and wants to enjoy their intergalactic adventures with Cal Kestis’s crew.

Now, with all that being said, is there a way to fix these Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 frame rate issues? Or will gamers have to wait for a major patch that can fix everything? Read below and find out.

How to fix Star Wars Jedi Survivor PS5 frame rate issues

Fixing the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 frame rate issues involves fixing a number of the graphics settings. Unfortunately, this will mean making the game look a bit worse to get a better frame rate. This is what Performance Mode was supposed to do but that’s currently a mess on all systems.

So, for players who don’t mind playing at a lower visual quality, here are the current ways to fix these Star Wars Jedi Survivor PS5 frame rate issues:

  • Turn off usage sharing: Fans have seen a decent performance boost by turning off usage sharing. In order to do this, players simply need to go to Settings, then Extras, where the “turn off” usage sharing option can be found.
  • Turn off effects: Disabling effects like Motion Blur, Film Grain, and Chromatic Aberration can improve Performance Mode quite a bit. Just go to Settings, then Effects, and then simply turn off the aforementioned options listed above.

Keep in mind that these options won’t completely fix the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 frame rate issues. Gamers will see a vast improvement on their PlayStation 5 but expect to see a few frames dropping here and there during intense situations.

Play in Quality Mode

If you’re not satisfied with the fixes to these Star Wars Jedi: Survivor frame rate issues, players are better off playing in Quality Mode. While the frame rate won’t be as impressive, it will run at a consistent 30 FPS and the visuals are going to look nice.

Right now, fans who want a real solution are better off waiting for the next few patches from EA and Respawn. A couple of them have already been released and improved some of these issues, though not all of them. Either way, fans might want to play something else while waiting for these fixes.
