Like in most other survival RPGs, in Nightingale you will constantly collect resources for crafting and buildings. However, as soon as you want to split resource stacks, you will notice that you cannot do this in your inventory, and then you will need to know how to split stacks in Nightingale.

At first glance, there shouldn't be anything complicated about splitting stacks of items. However, for some reason, Inflexion Games decided to make this feature quite confusing.

How to split stacks in Nightingale

Unfortunately, you cannot split stacks directly in your weapon inventory. Instead, you need to use a separate crafting station or chest. Only by dragging items will you be able to split stacks:

  1. First, open the workbench, campfire, or chest menu.
  2. Select a stack of items that you want to split.
  3. Hold Shift and click on the desired stack.
  4. Then, select the number of items you would like to split.

It is important to note that in the case of crafting stations, you can only split those stacks of items that can be used there. At the same time, you have no restrictions when interacting with a chest or other container. Therefore, when you want to put things in order in your inventory, you should open the chest and start splitting stacks in Nightingale.

Of course, this may seem quite inconvenient at first. Moreover, new Realmwalkers may think that this is not possible at all in the game. However, after a few times, you will get used to it and will not experience any difficulties with this.
