Exploring space just became quite more fun with the release of Bethesda's latest smash hit in the realm of exploration and RPG. But wouldn't it be even better if you could take that experience on the go? It is entirely possible to play Starfield on mobile, like on your Android or Apple tablet. How? Let's find out.
Clearly, this is an experience that was designed with a controller or a mouse + keyboard, originally. But still, that doesn't mean it is not fun to enjoy it on other devices.
Enough dilly dallying. Let's find out all about how to play Starfield on mobile and the easy ways to do so.
How to play Starfield on Android
There is quite the simple way to play Starfield on Android. All you need is a well equipped Android device and take advantage of the Xbox Cloud Gaming feature, part of the Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
As mentioned, your device must also be strong enough to run the game. We would recommend the following specs:
- Android 6.0 or a later version
- Bluetooth 4.0 or later
- 10 Mbps internet connection
- Also a 5G connection is recommended
That's really all you need, then you can stream the game and have fun. Clearly, we still recommend playing with a gamepad.
How to play on an Apple device
Much like we discussed previously, all you need is a recent Apple device and use the Xbox Cloud Gaming feature. Again, you need to be subscribed to the Game Pass Ultimate service.
In order to play Starfield on your iOS device, we recommend that it has at least the following:
- iOs 14.4 or a later version
- Bluetooth 4.0
- 10 Mpbs for iPhone and at least 20 for the iPad
- 5Ghz connection recommended
Also, we have heard news that Starfield might also be coming to GeForce Now, since Bethesda has a history of releasing games there. So far, it is not available but we will be sure to update this guide as soon as we have more information.
