Microsoft has not yet provided an exact number of planes that will be included in Flight Simulator 2024.
However, based on the previous release, Flight Simulator 2020, the number of aircraft varied depending on the version purchased. In Flight Simulator 2020, there were three editions available to players: Standard Edition, Premium Edition, and Premium Deluxe Edition.
The Standard Edition featured 20 aircraft, the Premium Edition included 25 aircraft, and the Premium Deluxe Edition offered an extensive selection of 30 different aircraft.
Considering this pattern, it is reasonable to expect Flight Simulator 2024 to follow a similar template with a range of aircraft options across various editions.
If you have invested some time and money into Flight Simulator 2020, then you'll be happy to know that practically all purchases from the marketplace will be carried over to Flight Simulator 2024.
