It is finally time to go back to hell to defeat the lord of Terror himself, Diablo. In the fourth chapter of Blizzard's long-running series of action RPGs, you will be hacking and slashing enemies all around. But some players are reporting issues with Diablo 4 on Steam Deck because of no GPU found.
Since Diablo IV is still in open beta, it is definitely expected to find some technical problems and issues, as players already observed with error code 34203 and error code 34202.

How to fix Diablo IV Steam Deck no GPU found error
Apparently, this is an issue related to some versions of Proton. Some players are reporting that the game works just fine with version 6.3, even though there is a GPU warning you can ignore it and the game seems to work fine.
Other players are reporting that the version to go for is instead 7-27 which also seems to have audio glitches. It is also recommended to use Lutris, instead of the usual Battlenet launcher, especially if you are having trouble with Proton. This is how to get it to run:
- Install Lutris on your Steam Deck, or update it if you have already installed it, so you are sure that it is using the latest VKD3D and DXVK libraries;
- Launch Lutris, then in the menu head to Runners/Wine menu and download lutris-GE-Proton7-39-diablo_4 runner;
- Right-click on the Battlenet game profile, select Configure;
- Under "Runner Options", make sure that you're using the right Proton runner and the latest DXVK and VKD3D libraries.
Launch Diablo 4 and, after a bit of waiting, you should be good to go.
Diablo IV Steam deck performance
Players are reporting that on low settings, the game seems to run just fine with low settings. Expect FPS around 40-60, so definitely a playable framerate. Regarding battery life, setting a dimmed screen should get you a couple of hours of playtime.
This should get you playing Diablo IV in no time, but still keep in mind that the game has not yet been made compatible with the Steam Deck and, being in beta, glitches and technical issues are bound to happen.
