Diablo 4 Lunar Awakening dates

The Lunar Awakening event is scheduled to run from February 6, 10 a.m.-February 20, 10 a.m. PST. All players from the Seasonal and Eternal Realms will be able to take part in this event that only runs for a couple of weeks.

The developers are describing it as a mysterious phenomenon that will be manifested through the many shrines of Sanctuary, giving these places some new and immense powers.

Basically, you will have to unlock Lunar shrines in order to access new bonus powers. The shrines can be recognized by finding a Dragon on top of them, along with a unique Map icon, which will make quite easier to identify them.

These are the list of effects that the Augmented Lunar Shrine will give to the players:

• Artillery Shrine – by casting you will have a chance to summon a holy bomb.

• Blast Wave Shrine – a cluster bombardment will follow each explosion.
• Channeling Shrine- augmented attack speed and chance to reset cooldowns.
• Conduit Shrine – cast powerful shocking strikes.
• Greed Shrine – summon a Treasure Goblin.
• Lethal Shrine – gives a chance to instantly execute a struck monster, causing Fear on surrounding monsters.
• Protection Shrine – you are able to reflect all incoming damage.

As you kill monsters, you get to earn Ancestor’s Favor reputation levels, the more you unlock and the more you get to access Lunar themed cosmetic reward, such as garments and decorations.
