Content Warning is the latest co-op survival horror title to burst onto the scene and thanks to a free promotion coming to an end, players have flocked to the game in a bid to create the perfect horror movie. Considering some items are expensive, throwing items is often the only form of defence.

How to throw Content Warning items

The process of throwing items in Content Warning is extremely straightforward. Simply hold Q and release it to throw an object in front of you. Pressing Q drops the item in your hand so be sure to hold it down.

The camera will shake and a noise will play to signal the strength of the throw.

If you're carrying a camera while a monster is launching an attack, it's worth throwing it across to a nearby squadmate in order to keep the footage secure. When prioritising which items to throw, always consider the camera as it can make money and give you those all-important SpookTube views.

Throwing is an extremely useful counter to the Starfish which patrols the ceilings. Throwing something at it will drop any players being lifted by it and save them from hanging upside down.

It's worth noting that not all of the monsters will be impacted by an object thrown at them. When panicked by an incoming threat, aiming a throw is particularly tricky so be sure to ensure the throw is accurate before even considering making an escape to safety.
