Where to find sussur bloom in Baldur’s Gate 3

Sussur blooms can be found in an area called the Underdark. This is a location that lies beneath the Blighted Village and has several different entrances.

Here are the locations of the Underdark entry points that have been discovered so far.

  • The Whispering Depths
  • Zhentarim Hideout
  • Riverside Teahouse
  • The Defiled Temple

The quickest way to get to the section of the Underdark that has sussur blooms would be through the Zhentarim Hideout or the Defiled Temple. You’ll know you’re in the right spot when you see an enormous tree that emits a blue glow.

You can walk across some of this tree’s branches and roots while finding a few sussur blooms along the way. You can also find a sussur bloom in the garden area just outside the room with the Arcane Tower’s power generator.

To get to this garden, you’ll need to jump off a balcony on the tower’s left-hand side, landing on several large mushroom tops to make your descent. You can use spells like Feather Fall to mitigate fall damage on your way down.

What are sussur blooms used for?

Sussur blooms can be used to suppress magic since they produce anti-magic fields around them. However, sussur blooms are most notably used to restore power to the Arcane Tower’s generator.

To do this, interact with the power generator then click and drag the sussur bloom onto the vacant slot. You should now be able to use the elevator and explore the rest of the Arcane Tower.

Keep in mind that anyone holding a sussur bloom will be unable to use magic. On the other hand, you can also throw blooms at enemies that primarily use magic to stifle their offense.
