Is Ara: History Untold coming to Xbox?

To cut right to the chase, Ara: History Untold will not be available to play on the Xbox console. As a matter of fact, the game will launch exclusively on Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs.

Although Xbox Game Studios is recognised as the publisher of this game, it’s only been developed for the Microsoft Windows platform, which limits its availability to personal computers and laptop devices.

Evidence of this is shown on the Xbox website, where they’ve indicated Windows 10 and 11 platform details for this eagerly-awaited title. Have a look for yourself below:

At January's Xbox Developer Direct event, the publisher provided fans of the grand strategy genre with a closer look at the gameplay of Ara: History Untold. Within this show, they also shared an overview of the key features that will be available in the game, one of which was the fact that the game would be joining PC Game Pass from day one.

If you’re not already aware, PC Game Pass is a subscription service that’s part of Xbox and offered by Microsoft Gaming. Ever since its launch, the service has allowed users to download and play high-quality PC games on Windows 10/11 devices.

So, there you have it. You now know that Ara: History Untold will only be available to play on PCs running Microsoft Windows 10 or 11. With plenty of time left until the game’s launch date, you can plan to make sure you have the latest operating system installed on your computer.
