The release of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duelhas gone down well. Very well, in fact. But the popularity of the game has shone light on some interesting errors. One such example is the Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Room Glitch. If we're being pedantic, we should call it the Master Duel Duel Room Glitch. But that's horrible to read so we're going to ignore it from here on out. If you've found yourself trapped in a duelling room nightmare, with no means of egress, we'll let you know what you might be able to do about it. Other than screaming into the void, of course.
How To Fix The Can’t Leave Duel Room Error
At the time of writing, there unfortunately seem to be very limited options in terms of resolving this issue. The usual tried and trusted troubleshooting methods seem to have very little effect. Even more drastic solutions such as deleting and reinstalling the game also appear to be ineffective.

So what can you do? Well, it appears that the most effective way to resolve this is to just...wait. Whether you are playing on PC or console, it seems that doing nothing, and returning to the game after a few hours, is your best and most likely way to resolve the issue.
As frustrating as this may be, there really doesn't seem to be much else that anyone can do at this stage. So switch off your game, and return to it after you've had a good night's rest, or been at work all day. And if you're lucky, the issue will have resolved itself. There's also the prospect of an imminent game update, so if one becomes available, download it, as it may provide a patch to fix this problem.

What Is The Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Room Glitch?
So what exactly is the Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Room Glitch? Well, you probably already know if it's happened to you. But for everyone else, this particular glitch makes it impossible to leave a duelling room. If you attempt to leave, the game stops you because it thinks you are participating. But in a Kafka-esque twist, if you then attempt to join a table, the game throws an error message at you: “File Load Error: Images/ProfileFrame/ProflieFrame0”.

The player meanwhile, is unable to join a game, nor leave. It's unclear at this stage why this is happening. The suspicion is that this is an issue with the server, rather than anything specific at the player's end. It is to be hoped that this will shortly be addressed by a game patch. Maintenance took place on 26th-27th of January. Hopefully, when the game goes back online, this will be one of several issues that are resolved.
