In celebration of Wonder Woman 1984's release in October, Microsoft has paired up with Warner Bros to create three Wonder Woman-themed Xbox One X's.
Inspired by the 80s-themed outfits worn by the likes of Gal Gadot and Kristen Wiig in the upcoming superhero film, these bespoke consoles will be auctioned off or given away just as the Xbox One X is discontinued prior to the Series X's launch.

Each of the Wonder Woman consoles comes with its own matching Xbox One controller. We've detailed all you need to know about these promotional consoles below.
Wonder Woman Golden Armor Xbox One X Console
This golden Xbox One X is designed to match Wonder Woman's suit of armour worn in the film. It features 24-carat gold-encrusted leaves and a golden eagle crest.
The sole version of this console will be auctioned off by Microsoft, with all proceeds going to the Together for Her initiative, which helps to support the global response against domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth Xbox One X Console
The second of these custom Xbox One X's feature's Wonder Woman's iconic lasso, alongside a vibrant 1980s-styled Wonder Woman logo. The Lasso of Truth controller is equally as colourful, making use of the tie dye effects that were popular during the 1980s.

Barbara Minerva Xbox One X Console
If you prefer a more villainous console, you'll like this Xbox inspired by Kristen Wiig's character in the upcoming film. Featuring a snakeskin print and faux leopard fur, this console certainly stands out compared to the base Xbox One X design.
Microsoft has not yet confirmed how they will auction or give away this Xbox, but we'll update you when we know more.

Can you use the Wonder Woman Xbox One X?
If you're lucky enough to get your hands on one of these custom console's, they will not, unfortunately, be able to run any games.
The Xbox blog post contains the disclaimer that "the Xbox is for display ONLY, not gameplay. Prize and the successful bidder will also get a standard Xbox One X."
Given the heat of an Xbox console combined with faux fur would likely create a fire hazard, we think this is the right choice.
