What is the Solar Opposites game on Xbox One?

The Solar Opposites game on Xbox One is described by the official press bumf like so: "Inspired by classic arcade games such as Asteroids and Gradius, the interactive experience spotlights a custom mini-game that features series characters including Jesse, Korvo and Terry escaping from their home planet before crash landing onto Earth. Players will navigate through galaxies, avoid space obstacles, and keep their eyes peeled for the five easter eggs from the show — all while piloting the characters’ ship to find a new world they can call home."

What is the Solar Opposites TV show about?

The plot of the Solar Opposites series is teased on the Hulu website like so: "A team of four aliens escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome.

"Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambroni) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth."

Solar Opposites TV show release date

Solar Opposites will launch on Hulu in the USA on Friday 8th May. Right now, it's not clear where the series will broadcast in territories like the UK where Hulu isn't a thing, but we'll be sure to let you know if that changes.
