Is NBA 2K23 PC Next Gen?

In recent years, players have been asking for the next generation of upgrades to be added to PC as well. Despite these requests, it looks like next-generation features will once again be exclusive to Xbox Series X and PS5 this year.

This is something the team is passionate about and will continue to investigate what is possible for the franchise in the future. For now, the focus was on assuring NBA 2K23 was optimised for the new consoles (PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S), while also making sure the experience remains fresh and innovative for players on other platforms.

The response from the PC users has not been positive. They were furious that 2K doesn't seem to care about PC gamers. There are even some PC gamers boycotting the game because of the lack of support for the platform.

Well, we can hope that NBA 2K24 will be different.
