With all of the accounts, special subscriptions, and profiles we have to manage in our day-to-day lives, it's unsurprising that people occasionally forget which one goes where.
Sometimes it's an account you use every day too, which means that it can be even harder to remember because you may well have set it up seven years ago and not thought about it since.

The good news is that it's actually quite easy to find out which account you've been using for your Xbox Account.
If you're logged in to your Xbox One already, then just hit the Xbox button, select Profile & system, then Settings, then Account, then Sign-in, security & passkey.
Now go to Show on Home and you'll be able to see the email address you used to sing in there.

What to do if you're on a new console and can't remember your account details
Of course, you'll not always have this option available, so it's good to know how to find your details if you've not signed into an Xbox before.
So, hit that Xbox button, select Profile & system, and then select Add new.
Now just hit Forgot your account? and then enter the email addresses you're likely to have used and check your emails and your spam folders to see which one gets the email to sort your account out.
You should now be good to get on with your gaming.
