Which devices can use Amazon Luna? Which phones, tablets and computers work with Amazon game-streaming service

Game streaming services are the brave new frontier of video games, and whether you like the idea or not, they're probably going to be around for a bit.

The latest company to kick things off is Amazon, and they're launching their service called Amazon Luna and it even comes with a funky-looking controller.

What is Amazon Luna though, and should you consider getting it?

Also, where is Amazon Luna going to be available and on which platforms?

What is Amazon Luna?

Amazon Luna is Amazon's entry into the ever-growing battlefield of game streaming. It's a service that allows players to sign up and then play stuff via the internet.

Annoyingly, it's only launching in the US as it stands, but it will include all of these games:

  • Furi
  • Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair
  • Sonic Mania
  • Control
  • Grid
  • Trails of Cold Steel 3
  • Indivisible
  • Blasphemous
  • A Plague Tale: Innocence
  • Everspace
  • Resident Evil 7
  • The Surge 2
  • Steamworld Dig 2
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Rime
  • Overcooked 2
  • Metro Exodus
  • Two Point Hospital
  • Abzu

As well as all of those, Amazon has decided to partner up with Ubisoft to bring their games to the service too.

Where can you use Amazon Luna?

According to the website, "Luna is available on PC, Mac, Fire TV and web apps for iPhone and iPad."

That means you'll be unable to use it via consoles, which makes sense, but should be fine on nearly everything else.

It's interesting to see that there's no android listed here. Apple is pretty famously awkward when it comes to streaming services, which is why there's no Xbox Cloud Gaming there, so it's odd to see Amazon Luna on it.

Nevertheless, that's where you can play it, so you'll be in luck if this is what you've been waiting for your whole life (or just the last five minutes).
