The Splatoon community is excited about the return of the Splatfest, and the anticipation is growing with every passing day. With that in mind, let's find out the dates for the next Splatoon 3 Splatfest.
When Is The Next Splatfest In Splatoon 3?
Nintendo has officially announced the date for the third post-launch Splatfest.
The next Splatoon 3 Splatfest will start on January 7, 2023, at 1 AM BST and run until January 9, 2023, at 1 AM BST.
This Splatfest’s theme is based around taste buds asking players to choose between Spicy, Sweet and Sour.
Splatoon 3 Splatfest Teams
While Splatfest in Splatoon 2 series asked you to join one of two opposing sides and fight for supremacy, Splatoon 3 comes with a cool new twist, giving you three different teams to choose from.
The objective is to cover as much of the stage in paint as possible. The team that covers the most stage wins a selection of goodies. So that's nice.
The theme for the upcoming Splatfest is: What's your favourite taste sensation? Spicy, Sweet and Sour?

How to join Splatoon 3 Splatfest
To join a team, you need to find the Splatfest team board within the city. This board will show you the teams that are available for you to join, and for you to make your choice. Once you have made that choice, you won't be able to change your team until the Splatfest ends.
You can then help your team out by playing in Turf war matches, Tricolour Turf Battles, and collecting conch shells during these matches.
