Ever since Rocket League launched back in July of 2015, it's become the game to play at e-sports tournaments or just as a game to stream weekly on Twitch.
Developed by 'Psyonix' which were acquired by Epic Games last year, the game was also a leading cry in cross-platform play, something that is now possible in Rocket League.
However, since it switched to a free-to-play service in September of this year, new players are still discovering the game, especially on PC.
It always helps to see what the system requirements are for a game, so with that, let's see exactly what Rocket League's requirements are.
What's the minimum requirements?
It's important to mention that the macOS and Linux versions of Rocket League are now abandoned, with little hope for them being updated for both systems. Windows is the primary OS for the game now, and its minimum specs are:
- Windows 7 (64 bit) or newer
- 2.5GHz Dual-Core
- 4GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R9 270X or better
- DirectX 11 or later
- Broadband Internet Connection
- 20GB Space
These minimum requirements are ideal for a PC or laptop that was bought in the last six years.
There are later integrated-GPU products that can also run Rocket League, but on minimal settings at a 1440x900 resolution. However, if you have a dedicated GPU that's 5 years old at the most, the game will run fine on Low-Medium settings.

What's the Recommended Requirements?
If you want Rocket League to play on High settings with a 1440P monitor and above, you've come to the right section.

The GPU will need to be as recent as 3 years to run the game at 60 FPS and higher, especially if you find yourself in matches that have the maximum amount of players in one match.
Essentially, it's a game that doesn't need the biggest and best PC gaming setups; as long as there's a decent GPU installed, the game will be able to run on your system completely fine.
