How to appear offline on Roblox
For a long time, it wasn't possible to toggle an appear offline option on Roblox. Happily, that situation has changed, and appearing offline is easier than coming up with an appropriate simile for how easy it is.
Simply complete the following steps:
- Log in to Roblox.
- Go to More Options. You can either access the navigation menu, or click on the three dots in the top right corner of your screen.
- Scroll down to My Feed.
- When you see the Appear Offline option, make sure it's turned on.
Once you've done this, your status will show as offline to anyone on your friends list.
One thing worth noting is that apparently, this setting turns itself off after 12 hours. So if you go back online the following day, you may start showing as online once again. Simply repeat the process above if you wish to remain offline.

Can you play Roblox offline?
Of course, this may all feel like a lot of effort. You may be asking yourself if it's possible to play Roblox offline.
Unfortunately for you, if you want to play Roblox, you will need to maintain an active internet connection. Games are all provided via the Roblox servers, as opposed to being available to download and play offline.
After all, one of the main ideas behind Roblox is that it is an online multiplayer platform. So playing by yourself, offline, sort of undermines that premise.
