Resident Evil Village announced for Stadia, tries to pawn off Stadia Premium Edition again


Google has announced that Capcom's Resident Evil Village will be heading to the Google Stadia streaming service. Launching alongside the Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC versions of the upcoming horror game, Stadia players will now be able to experience Capcom's latest release.

Resident Evil Village Stadia Premium Deal

To entice would-be customers to purchase Resident Evil Village on Google Stadia, Google will be introducing some extra goodies. Anyone who purchases the Standard ($60) and Deluxe ($70) versions will be eligible for a free Google Stadia Premium Edition.

Originally released for $100, Google Stadia Premiere Edition comes with a Chromecast Ultra, Stadia Controller and one-month Stadia Pro subscription. The last release that came with this deal was Cyberpunk 2077.

Google's new deal is only a limited time offer. At the time of writing, Google has announced that the deal will be running from March 22, 2021 12:00 am PT until May 21, 2021 on the Stadia store.

Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition on Stadia

Alongside the announcement of Resident Evil Village, Google revealed that the last first-person Resi game is also coming to the streaming service. Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition will be coming to Stadia on April 1st.

Subscribers of Stadia Pro will be able to pick up the new version of Resident Evil 7 for free on the day of release. The Gold Edition comes with all of the DLC that was released for the original game.
