It's been a long time since Aladdin asked Jasmine whether or not she wanted to see a whole new world, a new fantastic point of view, with no-one to tell them no, or where to go.
It's also been a long time since Crucible came out, went back into beta, then got unreleased.

New World release date
So, first things first, let's talk about the release date.
While it was initially meant to come out in May last year, it got delayed to August last year. As you have probably noticed, that also hasn't happened.
As such, the current release window we have is Spring 2021, which means we'll likely see it around April assuming it's not delayed again.

You might be wondering if you'll be able to play New World on your shiny new PS5 or Xbox Series X, or maybe even your PS4 or Xbox One.
Unfortunately for you, that's not the case.
Instead, New World is only coming to PC, and it'll likely have its own launcher as it's an MMO, which means it may not come to Steam either.
