Activision has finally added Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone gyro aiming, giving players more options to shoot the bad guys. This has become an essential feature in many shooters, so seeing gyro aiming patched into the game will make players happy.

Players will also be happy to know that the gyro aiming feature isn’t a rushed effort, with multiple options that suit different playstyles. Since the feature is an optional one, players that don’t like it don’t have to turn it on at all.

With these updates to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone now available, all players can partake in this new feature. Hopefully, Activision won’t have to mess with the gyro aiming feature with future updates, though unexpected bugs and issues can happen.

Turn on gyro aiming in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone

All players have to do is pause the game for either Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone you are in-game, head to Settings, and pick Controller. Once in the Controller sub-menu, head to Advanced and players should immediately see the Gyro Aiming feature, which can easily be turned on or off.

However, that’s not all. Once Gyro Aiming is activated, there are plenty of options for the players to go through. They can adjust how sensitive the feature can be, invert them if it makes things easier, and even toggle what actions make them active.

Unfortunately, Gyro Aiming is only for the PS4 and PS5 versions of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, but that was expected. As good as the Xbox series systems are, their controllers don’t tend to have Gyro or haptic feedback, hence, only being on PlayStation systems.

Currently, that’s all players need to know about Gyro Aiming for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone on PS4 and PS5. For more on Modern Warfare 2, here’s how to fix the 2FA problem that’s been bothering players, along with tips on making the lag better.
