Sure, you've been wondering whether you should get the PS5 or the Xbox Series X, but did you ever think that maybe there was another console you should consider?

What if a console could do more than just play games?

We're not talking about being able to use apps or anything as vanilla as that.

What if your console could keep your food warm for you?

Meet the KFConsole

Look, 2020 has been a weird one, so this should really come as no surprise to, well, anybody at this point. It's also real, which is just, sure.

"KFC Gaming have today announced the official launch of the KFConsole in partnership with Cooler Master."

Yup, that's a series of words that doesn't seem right, but it's actually how it is, and we're just going to have to learn to deal with the fact that this exists in the real world and is also something you could buy.

"The KFConsole is now a reality, thanks to a key partnership with a global hardware manufacturer. After recently teaming up with Cooler Master to develop the console, there were multiple stages of the development process which included custom built casing, creating the unique cooling system and integrating the signature chicken chamber."

Is the KFConsolse any good?

In terms of how it plays, who knows, but it " is fitted with a unique, custom built internal cooling system to extract system heat through around the outside of the chicken chamber, ensuring that the hardware is kept at a regular core temperature while simultaneously delivering a piping-hot meal."

We're not sure who wants that from they're console, but it's there if you do, so that's nice.

According to Mark Cheevers, the PR & Social Media Lead at KFC, "very confident in the KFConsole as our flagship entry. This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience… what’s not to like? If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they’d be welcome to get in touch."

Even if it is just a campaign stunt it's an entertaining one.
