Is the new Fable game on Xbox One or Xbox Series X?

Despite somewhat mixed feelings towards the series as a whole, many people are clamouring for any kind of sign that Fable is coming back.

While the series may not have always lived up to its own hype, it's still generally considered a fun series, and the fact that there is a new game coming is very exciting.

Fable, not Fable 4, has been announced, and while there's not much known about it, a lot of people are still very ready to jump back into the world.

However, if you want to play Fable, will you have to buy an Xbox Series X, or will the Xbox One be able to run it?

Is Fable on Xbox One or Xbox Series X?

Well, according to the official Xbox product page, it looks as though Fable will be coming to Xbox Series X and PC.

That means that anybody hoping to play it on Xbox One will be rather disappointed. It's a shame really, but hopefully, it all means that we'll be getting a truly next-gen experience.

That's exciting for a lot of reasons, so let's get into them.

Why is this the case?

The Xbox Series X is substantially more powerful than even the Xbox One X. While this might not seem like a big deal for anything other than graphics, it'll actually help improve a lot more than that.

For starters, loading times should be significantly reduced, which means less time staring at loading pages, and far more time just enjoying the game.

It also means more complicated interactions in the world, which can allow for a more immersive experience, and far more options whenever you're fighting, or buying a house, or flirting.

Every single aspect of a game should be improved by being on the Xbox Series X and not the Xbox One, so hopefully, Fable will be an astoundingly good game.
