Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most successful releases in history and none bigger than GTA V.

Almost every console generation since 2013 has received a version of this blockbuster AAA title. 

At the time of writing, GTA 5 is not available to play on Google Stadia.

But fans can be hopeful that they'll see the game arrive on Stadia in the future, given the existing partnership with Rockstar which saw Red Dead Redemption 2 launch on Google's game streaming platform.

Here’s what we know about the GTA 5’s arrival on Google Stadia.

So far Rockstar games have not committed to bringing GTA 5 to Google Stadia.

But there are plenty of rumours suggesting an eventual release could be on the horizon.

According to past rumours, Google Stadia would likely see GTA 5 added to the library of games when Rockstar launches it's enhanced edition on the PS5 and Xbox Series S. 

If this was true, Google Stadia fans could be waiting a few more months, as the enhanced edition of GTA 5 isn't due to arrive on next-gen consoles until the second-half of 2021.

An exact date is still TBC.

Moreover, fans are also expecting that the Google Stadia version would get its own servers for GTA Online.

For now, fans will have to wait for more details about any impending launch of GTA 5 on Google Stadia’s streaming service.

GTA 5 on Google Stadia - What can fans expect?
