Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.03 released: Patch Notes, bug fixes, upgrades, and what has changed

Cyberpunk 2077 is out after what feels like forever.

The developers at CD Projekt Red have been working incredibly hard for a very long time to get this out in a state that's working and it's undoubtedly an impressive achievement.

While it would be nice for them to get some rest, they're instead working just as hard to iron out some of the bugs and performance issues that the game has launched with.

The latest patch is here, so here's what you need to know about it.

What's in Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.03?

According to a site called Update Crazy, the latest update adds in a seizure warning, tries to sort out some of the blurriness on PS4 and Xbox One, and also does all of this:

  • Added performance and stability improvements.
  • Optimized performance to improve framerates for RTX GPUs.
  • Fixed sporadic crashes on PS4 and Xbox One/S.
  • Fixed crashing problems.
  • Addressed issues related to FPS drop.
  • Addressed texture related issues.
  • Fixed game loading issues.
  • Added performance fixes.
  • Other under the hood fixes.

It's all a little bit vague, but it's also probably a lot easier to parse than detailed notes of every single thing that the company has done to try and improve things.

When will the next Cyberpunk 2077 patch be coming?

It'd be impossible to completely predict when these patches will be rolling out, but given that the game has already had three, we're expecting to see them roughly once a week.

Keep in mind that the people working on this haven't had any time off in over a year and are regularly working 60+ hour weeks. It's likely that's not going to change until everything is fixed either.

So, you know, be kind if you're going to talk to them.
