Cyberpunk 2077 Metacritic score vs The Witcher 3: Reviews are in, and this is the comparison you need!

With Cyberpunk 2077 reviews now out, albeit with only a few outlets actually getting review copies, and none of them being for consoles, we can compare how it does against The Witcher 3.

If you're not in the know, CD Projekt Red, the team behind Cyberpunk 2077, also made The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

It's always interesting to see if a company is doing better or worse than their previous work, although it's important to keep in mind that all reviews are opinions, and it's okay for you to disagree with them, but you know, don't harass people.

Anyway, here's how the two scores stack up.

What is Cyberpunk 2077's Metacritic score?

As it stands, the Cyberpunk 2077 review score on Metacritic, on PC anyway, is 91.

The game has a few perfect scores, but a lot of reviews mention the fact that the game has bugs and glitches in it.

It's also worth noting that this is likely to change as more reviews come in from some of the sites that didn't get a review code as of yet. This could mean it goes up or down, but as of the time of writing, this is how it all stands.

So, how does that stack up against The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt?

What is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Metacritic score?

As this game is a little older, it's far less likely that the score will change.

So, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes in at 93 on PC.

For the eagle-eyed among you, and the maths wizards, you'll know that that's 2 whole points higher than the 91 that Cyberpunk 2077 currently has.

That means, at least according to this one metric, that Cyberpunk 2077 is a worse game than The Witcher 3. Make of that what you will.
