Castlevania surprised a lot of us when it came out and was not only real, but also very good.

You can understand long-time Castlevania fans surprise given that we've not had a game for a very long time and also don't see one coming any time soon.

Thankfully, the series is doing a lot to keep some of the excellent characters and monsters alive, and we're very much looking forward to the next season of the show.

So, here's everything you need to know about Castlevania Season 4.

Castlevania Season 4 trailer

As it stands, we haven't had a trailer as of yet.

We know it's coming though @NXOnNetflix tweeted out this little teaser:

That was back in March, and while it's been a chaotic year for everyone. While that does mean that the show may have been in production for a while, these things take a lot of time, so we're probably a long way away from a trailer.

Castlevania Season 4 release date

We're likely looking at the latter half of 2021 for the next season of Castlevania.

It could well be even further away too, as the executive producer, Adi Shankar, is also working on an adaptation of the Devil May Cry series.

We'll just have to wait and see, as frustrating as that is.

Castlevania Season 4 cast

While we've got no cast list yet, it's very likely that a lot of the main characters thus far will be returning.

That means we'll still have Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, James Callis as Alucard, and Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades. Those three are our main heroes, but the cast is far larger than that.

We'll likely be seeing Theo James as Hector, Adetokumboh M'Cormack as Isaac, Jaime Murray as Carmilla, Jessica Brown Findlay as Lenore, Yasmine Al Massri as Morana, and Ivana Milicevic as Striga.

Finally, we'll hopefully see the return of Bill Nighy as Saint Germain too.
