How to fix Apex Legends slow download speed

The first thing you should do is make sure that no other devices are doing anything too demanding on your network or console. That means stopping any other downloads or streams that might be going on as you’re attempting to update Apex Legends.

Even playing other games or watching Netflix can impact your download times, too, as if they are online then they will receive bandwidth prioritisation, taking it away from the Apex Legends download.

Sometimes it’s worth pausing and unpausing the download too, and in the same vein, rebooting the router.

It’s rare that it’s anything more malicious than this. If all else fails, you can always try a wired connection to your router instead of a wireless one via a LAN Cable for a more stable internet connection.
