After Spider-Man: No Way Home blanketed fans with three generations of webheads in a single movie, Marvel's bar for fan-service-per-movie has been significantly raised. However, as Doctor Strange 2 aims to go even further into the Marvel multiverse, that bar may be raised even further than we thought possible.

Doctor Strange 2 will celebrate all of Marvel

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is already looking like a wild ride. The film’s first trailer has already revealed an evil Stephen Strange, the return of Scarlet Witch and multiverse shenanigans.

Additionally, leaks for the upcoming Marvel movie have seemingly revealed multiple cameos. For example, a pre-vis leak showed the aforementioned Scarlet Witch battling Patrick Stewart’s iconic Professor X.

According to insider Tom Smith, Doctor Strange 2 will be filled with far more cameos. As the Sorcerer Supreme dives deep into the Multiverse, Marvel fans will see some of their favourite characters from non-MCU Marvel movies.

“Doctor Strange 2 is going to be a big celebration of Marvel, much like how Spider-Man: No Way Home was a big celebration of the Spider-Man franchise,” Smith said. “Expect a ton of crazy cameos as Strange and Wanda battle throughout the multiverse.”

Furthermore, rumours have stated that Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise have been approached to cameo in the movie. According to the rumours, Affleck will be reprising his role as Daredevil for a few seconds. On the other hand , Cruise stars as Iron-Man, a reference to Marvel wanting him to kick off the MCU instead of Robert Downey Jr.
