Brie Larson is already getting hench again ahead of The Marvels filming

Superhero transformations aren't just a story arc within movies. To play a superhero like Captain America or Superman, actors have to go through rigorous training regimes to get their bodies in tip-top shape. In order to prepare for the upcoming The Marvels film, Brie Larson is going through that transformation as we speak.

Brie Larson is training hard for The Marvels

Much like the actress did for Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, Larson is currently going through a challenging workout regimen. Shared on Twitter, one part of the actor's training involves full-body pull ups with a chain around her legs. In the video, Larson holds the challenging pose for over 30-seconds.

“Only Miley Cyrus can bring out my superhuman strength needed to complete these workouts,” Larson said on Twitter.

Of course, this is just one set in her training to get back in superhero shape for her upcoming Marvel appearances. Seeing as Larson will be the most powerful hero on the team in the film, it would appear Brie Larson is putting her all into getting swole.

How long will the actress be in the MCU?

Brie Larson has only appeared as Captain Marvel twice in the current MCU. As the actress is playing one of the most powerful Avengers, we hope she'll be around for a long time to come. Despite heavy criticism from certain crowds of people, Larson appears to love portraying the superhero.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, Larson explained that Captain Marvel is more than just a role. As Marvel's first female superhero to have her own movie, Captain Marvel has become a symbol for fans everywhere.

“The thing that has just broken my heart open the most has been how many different kinds of people respond to Carol. It’s so much more than me, and so much more than my body holds. Different sexual orientations or ways that you identify with gender or race. It goes beyond that. And that’s the thing that’s been exciting for me.”

The Marvels is currently expected to release on November 11th, 2022.
