Xbox Series S vs Xbos Series X

Following the reveal of the Xbox Series X’s price and release date, gamers began checking their bank accounts to see if they could justify splashing out $499.99/£449.99 for the next-gen experience.

While the Xbox Series S, which costs just $299.99/£249.99, is marketed as the budget alternative to the Series X, there is another option that will see you pay less upfront – Xbox All Access.

Xbox All Access allows players to pay a monthly instalment for their new console, with the contract lasting 24 months. Players will also access 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which costs just over £10 by itself.

For the UK, Xbox have a site ready that redirects to GAME and Smyths Toys; the two retailers who are taking part in the ‘All Access’ program.

While Microsoft confirmed that Canada, France, Poland and South Korea will also have the Xbox All Access financing made available for the Xbox Series X ahead of its launch, Microsoft confirmed in the pre-order blog post that this would not be available on September 22, promising more details in the future.
