Which stores accept Bitcoin?

So now you own some Bitcoin, but what can you actually use it for?

Well, some people view it as a store of value, or a "hedge" against inflation, a "Digital Gold".

But others prefer to see it as a form of currency that should be used for buying and selling goods and services.

So which businesses will actually allow you to spend Bitcoin?

What's in it for a business?

For a lot of businesses, accepting Bitcoin represents what might be called a justifiable risk.

Namely, if the value of the Bitcoin they receive goes up in exchange for their goods, then effectively they've made even more money from you.

On the other hand, if the price of Bitcoin drops, then they may actually lose out on that particular transaction.

So with that in mind, which businesses are open to Bitcoin transactions?

Where you can actually spend your Bitcoin

Perhaps the most famous company to recently announce they were open to accepting Bitcoin, is Tesla.

But they are by no means the only company willing to accept your Cryptocurrency; other big names include Paypal, Microsoft and Twitch.

In addition, there are thousands of other places where you may be able to part with your Bitcoin, should you wish to.
