It's about time. We've been waiting on this one for a while now. As it stands, Call of Duty: Warzone is plagued with cheaters. But, it looks like we may finally be getting the much-anticipated Anti-Cheat for COD: Warzone. The creators of Call of Duty have been listening to the entreaties of fans and they have finally come up with the new RICOCHET Anti-Cheat system. When Will Call of Duty: Warzone RICOCHET Anti-Cheat Release?

Activision confirmed that RICOCHET’s Anti-Cheat server enhancements will be released on Friday, November 5. It will be added to Warzone as part of the Pacific map update later this year. The PC kernel-level driver will also be released as part of the Warzone Pacific update. The exact release dates for the driver have yet to be confirmed.

What is Call of Duty: Warzone RICOCHET Anti-Cheat?

Activision recently announced that they have successfully finished the development of RICOCHET Anti-Cheat. This new anti-cheat system brings a broad enhancement to the security and a kernel-level driver for Warzone on PC. This is how Activision defines RICOCHET:

“The RICOCHET Anti-Cheat initiative is a multi-faceted approach to combat cheating, featuring new server-side tools which monitor analytics to identify cheating, enhanced investigation processes to stamp out cheaters, updates to strengthen account security, and more.” 

RICOCHET Anti-Cheat has a new backend-based update that provides better infrastructure and security. Also, a new PC kernel-level driver system, which will assist in the identification of cheaters, reinforcing and strengthening the overall server security. With Warzone RICOCHET Anti-Cheat, the entire gaming community will have an easier time keeping cheaters out of the game.
