What causes the Infinite Loading Screen?
While an infinite loading screen is a great sounding name, this is an issue that causes immense frustration to afflicted players.
It's a cross-platform issue, so in other words, it isn't restricted to users of any specific platform. The good news, is that the cause of this particular problem seems relatively straightforward.
Typically, the infinite loading screen arises if players have forgotten to link their accounts. So for example, a PlayStation user would need to link their PSN profile with their Activision account, in order to try to remedy this.
