But is the new Matebook worth the price tag? We take a closer look at its specs and features to help you decide for yourself.

Here’s everything you need to know about the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro i7 2020.

HUAWEI MateBook X Pro specs

As the name might suggest, the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro i7 2020 comes complete with a 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor (there’s an i5 version also available).

It also houses an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 dedicated graphics card and comes with up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage – “built to provide all the horsepower you need,” as the manufacturer puts it. Ooh er.

In terms of the visuals, the 13.9-inch “3K FullView” display offers a whopping 91% screen-to-body ratio and a 100% sRGB wide-colour gamut, to give you a “massive view with vivid details”. The machine as a whole is just 14.6mm thin and weighs in at 1.33kg, so odds are it’s pretty portable.

HUAWEI MateBook X Pro features

The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro i7 2020 features a sensitive touchscreen that allows you to “efficiently and intuitively” scroll, zoom, select and interact with all your favourite Windows 10 apps. It also includes HUAWEI’s “ONE” function, which turns your smartphone and Matebook into a single “super device” at the tap of a button, allowing for cross-device working without an internet connection.

The 56Wh battery promises up to 13 hours of video playback and 11 hours of web browsing on a single charge, while the smooth, space-grey casing boasts “exquisite CNC diamond cutting and sandblast finishing”. In other words, it looks a little bit swish.
