Following a leak on a French storefront that Gadgets 360 reported on, Dell has officially unveiled the new Dell XPS 15 for 2020, which is officially named the Dell XPS 15 9500.
Yep, the new Dell XPS 15 2020 is called the Dell XPS 15 9500, and it seems to be a very impressive piece of kit.

In a rather strange situation indeed, it got leaked by a product listing that appeared on the Dell France website (and was promptly taken down) before being covered by sites like this one and Gadgets 360.
But now, Dell has officially unveiled the Dell XPS 15 9500 for 2020, and you can read on to learn everything about it.
Dell XPS 15 2020 specs
The official Dell website says this: "Packed with staggering performance typically only available from desktops, [the Dell XPS 15 9500 has] 10th Gen Intel Core processors [that will] bring desktop-caliber creativity to your laptop."
"With up to i7 processors with 8 cores and 16 threads, 10th Gen Intel Core processors help you capture, edit and share your creations faster than ever before. Designed for performance and portability, so you can go wherever your vision takes you."
Dell also mentions that this new laptop has some powerful graphics tech inside it: "GeForce GTX 1650 Ti laptops are built with the breakthrough graphics performance of the award-winning GeForce GPUs," and the Dell XPS 15 9500 is lucky enough to have that stuff baked in!
These are all incredibly powerful parts and should make for a lot of punch in this new laptop.

The Dell website is also keen to boast about the size of this laptop and the coolness of its screen:

The official Dell website is accepting orders for the Dell XPS 15 9500 right now, so you could say that the release date for this laptop has already been and gone! It is worth noting that delivery will take between 8 to 10 working days, though.
