xAI, Elon Musk's AI company, is testing a standalone iOS app for its AI Chatbot, Grok. Previously, this chatbot was only available with an X Premium subscription.
However, xAI recently announced that Grok-2 is now free to all X users.

The new iOS app, designed for user convenience, is currently available in Australia and is undergoing beta testing in select countries.
The app's user-friendly nature, which uses real-time data from the web and X to offer generative AI features, ensures a comfortable and seamless user experience. Unlike competitors, Grok imposes fewer restrictions and allows the generation of images featuring public figures or copyrighted material.
xAI is also preparing to launch a dedicated platform, Grok.com, where all users will soon be able to access the chatbot online. While the site currently displays a "coming soon" notice, this move shows xAI's commitment to making Grok widely accessible.

By positioning Grok as a versatile and curious AI assistant, xAI plans to attract users looking for a robust tool with fewer limitations. Expanding to a standalone app or a future web platform represents a significant step in xAI's efforts to define AI chatbot capabilities.
